Site passwords are lost after each reboot since a recent windows 10 update.

Received an update last week. Ever since then, I lose my saved passwords for all websites that I had set to be saved after rebooting my system. This only started after this most recent update.

I ran into this problem and it was bothering me for weeks. Finally found a solution. Did not have to reformat my computer, or install windows fresh or anything, but I did have to create a new user account on the local machine, and then log into that account. Then in that new account, the problem doesn't happen anymore. Was kind of a pain, but way better than having to reformat. 

Just FYI that's the fix.

I would agree with that given I am now on day four of not having to log in to all my software or browser.

I did have to switch off the "HP Printer" task twice but it seems to have worked.

Now installed the 20H2 and all good at the moment.

Did not want to speak too soon to say it had been resolved but like I said; so far so good.

Exactly the same with myself.  Having to go through all that two-factor authentication is a bit of a bind. I have to say at times I get days on end where everything works as normal - like today and yesterday - no problem.  Pretty sure that will not last though.

Agree. Can't believe MS hasn't put a team on this.  

When they ask me would I recommend Windows to a friend I always give a very low mark. This error, the fact you can't do a repair install on 20H2 are perfect examples of MS being on Mount Sinai.
