Site passwords are lost after each reboot since a recent windows 10 update.

I have to say that fixing the tasks (HP printer in my circumstances) worked for me.  This is a simpler "fix" if it works for you. You do have to do it twice, or at least I had to, to get that to work.

If that does not work for you then the new account solution should be your next "fix" to try.

Received an update last week. Ever since then, I lose my saved passwords for all websites that I had set to be saved after rebooting my system. This only started after this most recent update.

I ran into this problem and it was bothering me for weeks. Finally found a solution. Did not have to reformat my computer, or install windows fresh or anything, but I did have to create a new user account on the local machine, and then log into that account. Then in that new account, the problem doesn't happen anymore. Was kind of a pain, but way better than having to reformat. 

Just FYI that's the fix. 

I am glad you found the key to this as I have told numerous people about making a new local user admin account and how it solved mine. There was something about update 2004 that corrupted the accounts of those the password problem was happening to. I noticed back in early August when I created mine for my Omen and created a new profile for my wife that my entire system ran much smoother and we now get very view DCOM 10016 warnings. It amazes me that users will install win 10 again instead of just making a new local admin profile and copy from the old profile as there are numerous articles on how to do so and all the Apps you have installed from the store will be waiting in the store queue to be re-download. It takes you all of a little over an hour to set it us and if you have a browser account  with Firefox or Edge and you keep each browser in sync then all your setting bookmarks and saved passwords will be there and all you have to do is sign in to your browser account and click on sync and it fill everything back in. You lose nothing when you make a new account. Since you made a new account I would go back to your Apps and programs and devices you made tweaks to and check them. I know I had to re-register my store App. in Admin Powershell but that took all of a minute. Glad you got it straight.
