Received an update last week. Ever since then, I lose my saved passwords for all websites that I had set to be saved after rebooting my system. This only started after this most recent update.

Your issue is exactly what I am experiencing.  Did you find a solution?

Yes. Reinstall Windows. Fairly painless, gets rid of lots old leftover crud. Machine now working perfectly.

Instead of reinstalling windows all you have to do is create a new admin user profile and it will work.

No I did not.  The problem is now a bit more patchy in that some days there are no problems then it fails again.  My two laptops are fine and in line with my pc are pretty similar in software.

I am hoping that the next roll-out will fix it.

I'm SHOCKED that MS QA team did not test this BEFORE pushing out an update!!!  SMH MS

It would seem lately that MS is pushing out a lot of updates  that are buggy and the prime example of one is 2004 which was crawling with bugs and still is for many users. The insiders had told them about some things yet they still pushed it out knowing it had problems. This is what you get when MS outsources it's update team to countries overseas like India and others. MS is failing with their customer service. If it were me I would go ahead and make yourself a new admin local  user profile . I know it is aggravating that you would need to re-setup your desktop but I was glad I did and it took only a couple of hours. You do not have to make a new Microsoft account at all and use the one you are on now and all your Apps you have gotten from the store will be there in the Store waiting to be reinstalled if you keep your same MS account. This is all I can offer to you to solve your problem but I have not hear of anything else and there have been numerous bug reports sent to the Feeback Hub and through here with no way to resolve except sign in to your MS or Google account in your browsers to see passwords.. Good luck.

    Don
