Still - the only way that I have found that fixes this issue is to start with a clean OS of windows or by ditching the **** OS alltogether and going to Mac or Linux. Microsoft is a garbage company that offers no support these days. Ditch this program now or forever be left in the dark - Raspberry Pi's work better than these dumpster fires.
Audio Not Working After Windows 10 Version 2004 Update
Hello
My audio is still not working after the recent Winows 10 Version 2004 update.
It causes the system to auto lockdown after initial booting and the audio functions are now totally lost.
Please let me know what is current status to fix these bugging issues.
Appreciate your urgent attention and reply.

2020-11-11T05:25:45+00:00 I am using an old sound card, tc electronic konnekt 6 to be exact. problem is, you guys have added this line of code in the 2004 version that adds exclusive control of driver for a certain program, and it can not understand when and where it should do it (or better yet not do it, as it was before) with sound cards like mine, which are for professional users. and no, ticking off that check box in the sound properties doesn't help.
my sound card has weird jumps to different sample rates when changing the buffer size and it's frustrating AF when working in a DAW because we do it all the time between projects.
.
my problem is:
WHY IN THE HELL, YOU ADD SOMETHING, DON'T DO THE TESTS ON IT IN BETA VERSION AND JUST RELEASE IT SO WE HAVE THE PROBLEMS AND TELL YOU WHAT TO DO!?
YOU NEVER DELIVER PERFECT UPDATES. IT'S ALWAYS SOME PROBLEM THERE, AND IT'S ALWAYS SOME USELESS OPTION NO ONE EVER USES UNTIL 5 YEARS AFTER IT'S RELEASE. THIS IS INSANE.

2020-11-16T17:52:42+00:00 Hi I had problems with internal speaker not working on dell 9010. I just grabbed iso of win 10 ver 1909 and used Rufus app to make usb install and all is fixed. Win 10 2004 is no good and caused me a headache. Hope this helps everyone else with same issues.. cant believe it as I thought its gd to grab Latest version but I now know better. All the best. Hope they fix this with next release. Never had these issues before with Windows updates.
The problem is that Microsoft is now forcing Win 10 2004 on us. How are you dealing with that?

2020-11-17T12:01:54+00:00 I'm using creative play 3 usb sound card.
After this windows update, my sound volume keeps changing by itself.
Specifically the system sounds, which I usually set to a low 10%. Now the system sound volume kept changing the same volume as the normal sound volume(which I set to 70%), and it's annoying. I would adjust it back to 10% and it will switched back to 70% all the time.
Edit:
Tried using the motherboard realtek sound, and same issue encountered.
