Crackling audio after update to 2004

After updating Win10 to 2004, I get crackling audio when I use Razer Surround Pro software. When I switch my audio output, I get normal audio. This only happens when I use Surround Pro.

Edit: Still talking with razer support but I ultimately believe this is an issue with the 2004 update. I hope there's a fix for this soon, although I don't mind still using 1909.

Edit: this is the reply from Razer I got today:

Good day!

We receive an update from our appropriate department that our Audio team is checking on the path forward. Should there be a fix, it will come in the form of a software update. Please check the synapse update from time to time.

Thanks.

Edit: I don't understand why, but having bluestacks running in the background fixes the issue.

    Yes, DPC Latency Checker works

But it is not very convenient to run this program every time and see the application icon at the bottom, so I put it in hidden autorun at login.

My .exe of this program is called dpclat.exe

Create a txt file with the following content:

    Dim WShell

    Set WShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")

    WShell.Run "C:\*path to the program*\dpclat.exe", 0

    Set WShell = Nothing

And save it in .vbs format.

In the new .txt we write:

    @echo off

    start wscript.exe "C:\*path to the .vbs script*\*script name*.vbs"

    Save it in .bat format.

    Win+R - compmgmt.msc

Task Scheduler - Task Scheduler Library - Create Task

General: set a name - run with highest privileges

Trigger: New - Begin the task - At log on - OK

Action: New - Action - Start a program - Browse - select .bat script - OK

    OK

    Restart the computer

If, after logging in, the task manager shows that the DPC process is running, then everything is working fine. The huge advantage of DPC is that it does not load the system.

An error may occur if you log out and log back in, then you need to start the .bat manually or log out and log in again, I have not yet found a solution to this problem.

I apologize for my English and possible errors in the names of the interface items, I am using windows in another language.

While it's your opinion and also totally fine....

It's legacy because of the newer 7.1 Razer Surround software. But most of the people would have to request a new key for it and the legacy software has better hardware support.

And your device has to support Dolby Atmos....With the exception of headphones but this service costs $15 and has no benefits, so to speak. All in all, I prefer a fixed Razer Surround.

So here are the latest reply from Microsoft and Razer Support:

Microsoft Support: "Sorry to keep you waiting.

Since the app was already outdated and old, there's a possibility that the latest update of Windows 10 is no longer compatible with it. You may send feedback thru Feedback Hub and see if our developers can release a special update for your device.

The Feedback Hub app lets you tell Microsoft about any problems you run into while using Windows 10. You can also send suggestions to help us improve your Windows experience.

We appreciate your understanding on this issue. -Van"

Razer Support: "Got that. We just want to let you know that Razers Surround is a legacy surround software product designed for all Stereo Headsets but this product is no longer available for download or purchase. The best thing we can do is forward this case to our Developers Team so they'll be notified with the issue and hopefully come up with a fix." Microsoft support screen shot: https://prnt.sc/tvgyn8
