It did exactly the same to my PC three days ago. Total destruction though. I couldn't start up and after a few attempts, it locked into an auto Repair loop. Neither was out recognising cd drive or USB.

I thought I'd lost everything but thankfully a friend managed to install a new copy of windows 10 and the long, laborious recovery of my files and former set up begins.

What angers me is that updates always cause trouble. They've messed up my internet connection, downed Google Chrome, messed up the cd player, caused the photo app to fail etc etc and as a result, I try to fend them off - but this update FORCED it's way onto my system, giving me the choice to either update immediately or 1 hour later - that was it.

It has cost days of time and will cost days more yet. Hackers couldn't have done a better job on my system!

I am lalamung, an Independent Advisor. I am right here to work with you on this problem.

Let's first rule out whether or not the keyboard hardware is an trouble or not. Can you use Keyboard tester and press keys to see if the keys are working efficaciously or not? If keys work as intended, then trouble is no longer the hardware of Keyboard.

The last two updates I've run have wiped out my desktop, reset all my default programs and extensions.  What the Hell!  Why is this happening and how can it be avoided?  It all started with the new browser release.
