how to fix Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed - 0xc19001e1

Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed to install all the way.  I have tried twice to get this update and both times it did not complete all the way / only 86% then failed.  When I check for updates again I get:

Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004

the next version of Windows is available with new features and security improvements.  When you're ready for update, select "Download and install"

Can someone help me with this update problem?

    Mine freezes at 61% and I get that error message ( Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed - 0xc19001e1 ) after I follow all the instructions.  One of the times I even uninstalled my anti-virus protection and tried.  Nothing has worked.  I have pretty much tried every option I have seen.  I have Toshiba Satellite C55-C5241 system with Intel i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20 GHz with 8GB RAM running 64-bit Windows 10 Version 1909 Build 18363.1139.  Can you please help me.

    Exact same problem on my HP ZBook 15G5. Also stalls at 61%. Have also tried the suggestions here to no avail. My laptop has plenty of free disk space and memory. Looks like we're stuck at v1909 for a while.

    I have the HP zBook 15 G5 also and the same Windows 2004 update problem. All device drivers are up to date and over 160GB of free space on system drive.

    So at least I'm not alone. I've also posted this question at the HP Support Forum and elsewhere, but so far no responses. John, Do you also have the latest ZBook BIOS update?

    This absolutely sucks ,come on MS fix this your self. We shouldnt have to be computer geniuses to fix YOUR stuffup . I have tried EVERY “fix” out there in interworld and nothing works 

    M$ always tell you to keep updated . How can we when you break the updaters GGRRRR

    Nope this doesnt work at all COME ON M$ FIX THIS ****

    I have reinstalled this windows 10 2004 5 times on a completely clean C drive with no other software installed no virus protection nothing just windows 10 OS and it still wont update GAWD!!!!!
