how to fix Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed - 0xc19001e1

I have this exact problem as well. Have you been able to solve yours?

If the Windows 10 Version 2004 won't completely install or do the restart sequence, run the windows update trouble shooter in the settings , windows update menu. It worked for me and completely finished the install. Do a manual restart after the trouble shooter is finished.

Have the same issue. Tried to install 2004 3 or 4 times. Alway crashes with BSOD 2 times and then rollback to the old version. tried some hotfixes, tiped some stuff into cmd, uninstalled my kaspersky, checked free space on c:/ (over 200gb). checked and repaired systemfiles with cmd-voodoo commands, nothing is broken. unpluged some usb-stuff, updated all hardware-drivers. i do not want to clean install. my pc works very well. but in the next step 1909 is out of date and iam outdatet, no updates und support etc.

what to do microsoft? should i try to fix it by my self? should i wait until microsoft fixes that problem? i dont know what to do. whats next?

I have same issue. One week ago tried to install update. Noticed there was uninstalled update for version 1909 but thought it would install 1st then 2004 update. Unfortunately the update failed and crashed Samsung notebook 9 pro laptop. Somehow after several trail and errors was able to restore the prior version later that night. So everything has been fine. Today 8/11 got notification there was an update waiting for restart so restarted the computer. When checked the update history discovered update was actually security-related along with a version 1909 update. However, there was also a version 2004 update pending download and install. So I allowed the download and install. It has taken at least 20 to 25 minutes for download and install. Now waiting after restart "this might take serial minutes don't turn off the pc" to complete.

It just completed and now laptop has has rebooted and I'm waiting on startup to finish. Startup has finished. I entered settings>update & security>view update history. It shows Feature Updates (1)

I selected and there as usual there are over 180 tips in 20 categories. 

Going back to desktop it appears so far the update was successful. 

Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed to install all the way.  I have tried twice to get this update and both times it did not complete all the way / only 86% then failed.  When I check for updates again I get:

the next version of Windows is available with new features and security improvements.  When you're ready for update, select "Download and install"

Can someone help me with this update problem?
