Unfortunately I was required to install the Windows 10 2004 update so I could connect to my computer at work. Since this install I cannot open Chrome or Firefox. If I do, it makes my computer freeze up. Sometimes I can't even open Task Manager to shut down processes. The only browser I can use is Edge (Yuck!) I am using an Intel i5 4200U @1.6GHz 2.3 GHz 16GB Memory 64-bit operating system. Yesterday I install CCleaner and it was able to stop all processes of Chrome. Once I did that my PC ran fine Until I opened Firefox. Then it started to freeze again. I then opened CCleaner and got the PC running normally. I opened Chrome to see what would happen. The PC started freezing again. I ran CCleaner to unfreeze my PC. Now I am afraid to use any other program but Edge because if my computer freezes up, I cannot access my PC at work. Please help!! I want my Chrome back!

My heavens you're having issues. All of my browsers [Firefox 77.0.1 64-bit, Chrome Version 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) 64-bit and Edge Version 83.0.478.54 (Official build) 64-bit] are running perfectly on my basic websites so far. To be honest though, Edge is the best browser Microsoft has built so far, but it took me some effort to get rid of Bing and all the other search engines I don't want. I must admit also that I'm running the WinZip series of system tools that clean up the Registry, Drivers, Browser bits and so on, so there were no known issues per se in my system prior to the 2004 build. I have had issues with Firefox before the latest round of OS updates running Facebook that grew in memory utilization until over 4GB was used for one process that got slower and slower until it crashed. I'll check over the next few days whether this issue still exists.

Hi, can you help me with a problem I'm experiencing? I have a laptop and reset my Windows 10. It did not create a restore point. When I reinstalled Windows 10, Microsoft Office, entered my product key. Everything looks okay except Microsoft Office. It keeps asking me for the product key, it validates it, configures it and when I try to open Outlook, it again ask me for a product key, configures it then tells me to open any Microsoft application. I restart my laptop and I still can't open Outlook without a pop up window asking for the product key, validating it, configuring it then asking me for a product key again. I tried Run, entering Outlook in safe mode and it does the same thing over again. When the Microsoft outlook window opens up and ask for the product key, I enter it, Outlook comes up and I can see all my emails, etc. but the pop up window says it's configuring again. When I close it, outlook closes as well. How can I get my Outlook to open up? TY

It should work. It is a cumulative update so it should bring you up to 18362.904.
