Not sure if this will help, but check the version of your OS. I have version 1903 and I was able to uninstall the KB4560960, and when I did my Brother MFC-5890CN printer (that I have been using for 11 years without any issues) started working again. I have also paused any updates for 7 days, but if this issue doesn't get resolved by Microsoft I will be forced to pause these updates permanently.

Hi All, My good luck appears to continue after installing Windows 10 Pro version 2004 OS build 19041.329 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2202.130.0 but it took ages (nearly 9hrs) on Saturday 20/06/2020 AEST: 11:47 Started 17:13 Stage 1 build completed. 17:17 Reboot 19:11 Working on updates 27% 19:45 Working on updates 85% 19:49 Blank screen 19:50 Reboot 19:51 Purple screen - Working on updates 75% with Windows circle of dots going around 20:13 (as above) 84% 20:28 Blank screen 20:29 Light blue screen - Preparing Windows 20:30 Login screen & login successful The only aspect that did not work was the HP Bluetooth Mouse that I needed to remove and repair. The WiFi network was switched off also but it connected as soon as I turned it on. The Apple iPhone mounts perfectly via USB3 and no other devices appear to be touched. The previous history of updates has been 100% deleted with the only update shown being 2004. I made sure that nothing else was running during the entire process. I even had it perched on the back seat of my car hooked-up to the hotspot on my phone and powered by a 350W 12V inverter as I drove for 2hrs via my sister's place to my Mum's place 113km away. I'll let this group know if I find anything else broken or changed after this weekend. But I must repeat, it was a very long but successful update process.

It happens automatically if configured so. Otherwise, open Start > "Settings", select from the window that opens "Update & Security" then click on the grey box "Check for Updates".

Not sure if this will help, but check the version of your OS.
