I've personally found that updating the printer driver to a PCL 6 gets it operational again. Given that I opened a case on a similar issue LAST month and clearly Microsoft did nothing on this issue, if you want this issue fixed faster, my advice is to upgrade the printer driver to a PCL 6 if you can.

Uninstall the update then block it. It could be three different KB#s(4560960, 4556799 and 4561608) depending on your build. We have a lot of problems on one of our DELL XPS 15: Windows is not activated anymore Outlook demands repair and if we click repair, it crashes It seams that this update kills or revokes one or more certificates - still investigating No problems on a DELL XPS 13 and some ASUS machines...

The update killed my HP Envy's HDMI port. No way to recognise external monitor. I tried to uninstall the update, but it didn't work; nor uninstalling and freshly installing video card driver worked. Please do something, I can't work without my external monitor

After most recent updates printing was disabled with my two Brother brand printers. I was able to get a Canon printer to work on one PC but not on the other. Deleted all 06/09 and 06/11 updates and both systems returned to normal as far as printing but both are incredibly slow now.

Uninstall the update then block it.
