I agree. I have suspended all updates now because it also disabled my printer. Others in this thread explain that a lot of the update was about new facilities that pushed us to by product. Very poor form and not the first time that Microsoft have been this unprofessional.

I spent two hours on chat with a Microsoft tech support today with the same problem, everything they have done I already tied, Uninstall reinstall, nothing would work, the only thing she tied to do was to remove office 365 and reinstall it, at the end I was told I needed to wait for the next update.

I am computer savvy, but of course that is relative. Look if I thought for one minute that I would have to become a computer expert just to use my printer I'd say you were crazy.

Well with this new update I am finding it completely out of my scope as a consumer. It is supposed to be easy, plug it in download the driver ( auto update the driver) and be on my way.

NOW you have it so I cannot use my printer at all,  while you are "working on a remedy for the update you just forced on us.

Seriously is there a reason you did not delay the release pending having all the bugs worked out? I don't care if I ever get another update, just so long as I have a usable computer.

This is going to make me seriously consider an Apple product next time.
