Try going to Settings-Windows Update. Click View Update History. At the top, you'll find Uninstall Updates. It will then take you to the Control Panel. There you can find the update that you wish to uninstall. Also, you can go to Setting-Windows Update, and go to Advanced Options. There you can turn off options for upgrades. I hope this helps! I have a 10 month old Samsung Notebook Pro laptop and had to send it in to repair a month ago because the 1909 update trashed my ssd. Now today, right now, I'm trying to install 1909 after being prompted that "You’re currently running a version of Windows that’s nearing the end of service. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 to get the latest features and security improvements." It took less than a minute for the install to download but it has been 10 minutes for the install and is so far at only 84%. What is going on? Is my ssd going to be trashed again? Assuming the 1909 update actually works, I see there is a 2004 update lurking. Should I dare try that update? Come on Microsoft get with it, please if you want to keep a loyal user for last 30 years.

Please help me stop this!! Windows 10 2004 -KB4557957 Build 19041.329 kills my computer. The first time it ruined windows putting it in an unrecoverable repair loop and eventually crashed my SSD. I had to get a new drive and reinstall windows and everything else. The second time it slowed my startup and Airplay no longer functioned. I uninstalled the update and Airplay worked again. Now this update has scheduled a restart... again. I cannot have this update on my system. It is destructive. How do I stop it forever!? There must be a way. My system is a HP Z230, Intel Core i4590, 8GB DDR3 Ram, 4K Nvidia Geforce GT 730 4GB video running Windows 10 Pro.

Please help me stop this!!
