Hi, Each and every time when i do some work in explorer like transferring a file from one location to another it always creates a mess with the address bar which is occuring for past 2 major updates 22h2 and now 23h2.
My Win 11 Specs
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 23H2
OS build 22631.2861

It's very annoying and disturbs the workflow, specially when working with multiple tabs.

Les Ferch 10,361 Reputation points Volunteer Moderator2024-07-29T12:56:22+00:00 Yes, it's silly that the address bar gets activated when you click any of those toolbar buttons, such as copy, cut, paste, or delete.
Until it's fixed, you can avoid the problem by using shift-right-click to select those functions (or just right-click if you have enabled the classic context menu). You can also use the keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl-C, Ctrl-X, Ctrl-V, Del).
Using the old Windows 10 Explorer on Windows 11 is another way to avoid the problem.

I also didn't get Duplicate Tabs on explorer.exe at work, but did at home. What the heck.
