This is what worked for me. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/windows-security/disk-partition-requirement-use-windows-re-tool My Windows RE partition was 508 MB but only had 86MB of free space, according to this article it should have 320 MB of free space. I used EaseUS Partition Master to increase the size of my partition to 800MB and now I've got 334,09MB of unused space on it. After that update went without any problems. Edit: "For Windows operating systems later than Windows 10, version 2004 or Windows Server 2022, the partition must have at least 200 MB of free space."

I have the same problem (Windows 10 Home 64bit) But my C:\ disk already has a recovery partition Partition ### Type Dim. Offset Partition 1 Primary 100 Mb 1024 Kb Partition 2 Primary 465 Gb 101 Mb Partition 3 Recovery 563 Mb 465 Gb The only difference (with respect to the Article linked above) is that mine is 563 MB "type Recovery" while the article talks about a "primary" 250 MB big. So, what is missing? That is a good question John. That part is where I backed the h*** out of there and typed reagentc /enable . What is missing are quality developers at Microsoft. Don

Hey Ant Dude I made a reply in my post https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/kb5034441-will-not-install/56645a57-38a1-43fc-9aa6-82b1dad4a8d2 about this to come and take a look at your post also. I tried doing those commands and it got very murky for me and I had to back out of it. I have a SDD and a hard disk. I am not going to do this with those kind of instructions especially when it comes to boot config. Don
