2024-03-13T13:54:31+00:00 Microsoft has PROVEN to be completely USELESS in this widespread ongoing problem and I have decided NOT to install this update. When this laptop needs replacing, I will be migrating to LINUX!!!!!

2024-03-12T22:58:51+00:00 Windows Update KB5034441 is a security update to the WinRe environment, but people are running into problems trying to get it downloaded and installed. KB5028997 tells how to resize your recovery partition so that this update can be installed, but it applies only to Windows 11 computers. I am in the same boat as John Dow 987654 and ULtraGreG. I need a workaround that applies to Windows 10 computers, if there is one.
Where is the workaround for Windows 10! I don't care if you have to Call Billy Gates back to duty and get him to FIX IT!

2024-03-02T18:58:01+00:00 Good morning to all, I waited to see if Microsoft was going to fix the update issue with the undersize WinRE partition > no was the answer! I saw a lot of smart folks trying to help with long drawn-out multi-step fixes & most folks were afraid of damaging their own systems. So, I used a very popular partition software that's free for the basic version called " AOMEI partition assistant ". shrink the C Partition 250 mb & expand the recovery partition, let the software do its thing / reboot and it's fixed! THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
