I CONTINUE TO GET UPDATES, INCLUDING KB2267602 (DEFENDER), BUT NOTING ON KB5034441. I WONDER IF ANYONE ON THIS THREAD HAS FOLLOWED UP WITH MICROSOFT ONLINE CHAT AND IF THEY COULD ANY INFORMATION THAT WAS CONSISTENT WITH WHAT I POSED ON 2/17/2024 & 2/4/2024? I THINK THE MORE WE PUSH THEM THE SOONER WE MIGHT SEE SOMETHING ON KN503441. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS?

PCs, I'm getting "Status: Download error - 0x80070643" with "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" in 64-bit W10 Pro. right now. I already rebooted once from other today's updates:

Couldn't MS do this to its users automatically without having to do it manually for non-technical users? :/

I often wonder how a company so vast can screw up so routinely.
Aaand *then* I remember it's because Microsoft (like Google, Apple and others) no longer really view us as individual users. We're just little gnats to them. M$ cares about large, corporate-scale customers and nothing else.

2024-01-10T19:18:07+00:00 Same error code here (0x80070643). Windows 10 Home 64 bit in a up-to-date healthy machine that is qualified for Windows 11 installation. Tried multiple workarounds with no success, then proceeded to a full Windows 10 restore that led to no success in finishing the installation of this update.
