The latest update downloads and then fails to install.
This is a brand new update. Is this a known issue? Is there a resolution specific to this update? (Please do not copy and paste standard procedure)

An in place upgrade??? That's the dumbest answer I have ever seen. That is NOT an acceptable solution. Why don't you guys at MS cut the update into 2 or 3 parts or something? Dorking up all my programs is not a solution. What about laptops that just have a small 256 GB drive? What do they do, format C:?
recovery partitions are meant to be before C drive, thats normal.
If the issue still persists, please try performing an In-place Upgrade. It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

DOWNGRADING to an even worse OS is NOT the answer and never will be!
If they want to pull this nonsense then I'll be UPGRADING to Linux sooner rather than later and pulling my hosting with MS and refusing to touch their crappy hardware ever again! Hell even their help app is broken and refuses to load in a browser!
This is THE WORST suggestion I've seen on here short from reformat /c as a fix! How the hell you got "expert" as a title with dribble like this is beyond me!
I have the exact same problem on 2 of my home computers with Windows 10. The problem is that my recovery partitions are before the C drive in Disk Management. Have no idea why that is. So I can't resize it gracefully. Why do I have to do all this **** just for the Bitlocker update? Microsoft, you suk.
Issues like this are why I consider completely disabling Windows Update. Thanks for ruining search by the way.
