Microsoft has released a fix. It is a Powershell script that supposedly will resolve the problem.

But it requires downloading a supplemental file from the Windows Update Catalog. You need to match that file to the specific version of Windows 10 that you have. Whether this script will work is unknown. I have only seen a couple of people who tried it. One said it worked, the other said it did not work.
