Win11 Search and other apps typing issue

I have an issue where today (Jan 16,2024) in the taskbar search bar it either double types every character or doesn't at all. This is not just isolated to the search bar, when attempting to utilize any MS Win app feature that requires typing of any sort such as logging in to manage email accounts, Task Manager, Add or Remove Programs, etc. It all behaves the same way. I have tried many different options to include restarts, restarting the SearchBar, restarting Explorer, Uninstalling and Reinstalling my Keyboard and Mouse, changed the repeating character speed, etc. This doesn't happen in any other program which is evident in this question submission. I should add it also doesn't happen in MS Office software, or even when I go to Control Panel and test the repeating character text box. It's very odd that it specifically is happening to only certain features of which I use often. I'm not sure what else to try. I'd rather not have to clean wipe/clean install my OS to fix this issue.

system requirements for Windows 11 include a minimum 8th generation CPU and TPM version 2.0. However, during a fresh install, there is an option when creating a bootable Windows 11 to uncheck these requirements. Please note that when upgrading, meeting these requirements is essential. we found a way to bypass these requirements using scripts.

Same problem here, only in Windows apps (explorer, search, etc), not in MS Office or other apps.

I've read that upgrading to 22H2 may fix that, but I am unable to do so. When trying to download that upgrade, I was required to run PC Health Check, which concluded my system wasn't capable of running Windows 11. That's odd because I've been running 21H2 (Windows 11) for at least a couple years now. I've also read some other posts that resetting may resolve (fixing corrupt files?), but I'd rather not go there since I have quite a few apps installed. Any other ideas?

    Finally got this sorted....

After a 30 minute remote assistance with Microsoft they advised that some of my windows files were corrupt. Solution was to repair windows.

Settings > System > Recovery > Reset this PC

Kept all my user settings, files etc. Just had to reinstall a few bits of software after Windows reset. Still on Windows version 21H2.

All appears to be working fine now.

Hope this works for you guys too.
