Since Microsoft is aware of the issues with this newest round of updates, for Windows 10 O/S my desktop computer
still searching for updates and I'm wondering how or what will happen when these updates have received the patch to correct the issue will my computer be able to download and install

I only upgraded an old Windows 8 laptop to Windows 10 on Saturday, it functioned perfectly from Saturday evening until Monday lunchtime on Windows 10 but the Monday Windows update put it into a continuous cycle of failing and restarting....only fixed by regressing back to Windows 8.
Is this part of the issues with the upgrade and once a patch is released will I be able to then go back to Windows 10?

As usual lately, KB5034203 and KB5034122 fail to install with error code 0x8007000d. At this point it is out of our control. Hopefully those at Microsoft will see this thread and make the correction which has continued for a about a month. It is saying files are missing and they will try again. So everyone knows, accountability lies with Microsoft 1000%. This is unacceptable and a disgrace they haven't been able to fix this issue as of yet. Meanwhile my computer is working fine. Glass half full. Otherwise it is so aggravating!
My hopes are on the "second Tuesday" of the month (Feb 13th 2024). People are laughing at how Windows keeps on updating and getting worse (too big). It was their Update in Dec 2023 that started all my problems. I know EDGE is a browser (and they say they're not part of Windows Updates) Ha, as I said, a coincidence? - that EDGE goes crazy after Windows???
AND......... my new quote "Artificial Intelligence is STUPID." Always hated BING and now BING + AI.
Those security updates were bundled. After seven days my computer corrected the error and I thought oh it's over when my computer let me know it was up to date and that lasted for just a few days will I was promptedd to download and install Windows 11 in which I chose to stay on windows 10 then it went right back to the error message
