That's one, isn't it? Has been lying downloaded and ready for months. So MSFT are not fixing it?

It's now April and this is still an issue. I shouldn't have to do all these extra steps the average windows user wouldn't know how to do to fix a standard windows update. Microsoft please fix this!!!

I'm not reinstalling windows for a simple update

Do this first:

1. go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...
2. Select Download Now, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.
3. On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.
4. On the What do you want to do? page, select Upgrade this PC now, and then select Next.
5. After downloading and installing, it should fix the issue.

THEN: Do this (before you go to the final step):

When you're finished with 1) the 'Upgrade" download and install LINK I showed, and 2) Windows>Settings>"Check for Updates" (will self install the latest) THEN my Windows 10 HOME 22H2, "Programs and Features" looks like this now:

Several of us Windows 10 22H2 users are running flawlessly now with the steps I've mentioned (above) in this message. YES it will be tedious but thorough.

I am facing an issue during the updation process of a new update which came in January 2024. During the updation process, encountered the error 0x80070643 in my Windows 10 OS. I have been facing this issue for more than one month now, hope this will be resolved as soon as possible.
