Windows Update failure for January 2024

No pausing windows update does not work. it is still WUA seems to still be trying to update for other programs and it continually causes errors. I'm having disconnect and reconnect notifications every few mins. Older systems likely don't have disk space on drives available for that increase. This was related to windows 11? the same update process shouldn't be shared for both...

This is almost making the system unusable with pauses every few minutes locking up the system.

Yes I have the same problem. Microsoft told me it is a known issue. I am getting a failure to update KB5034122 with an error code 0x8007000d or error code 0x800f080a over and over and over again it tries to installl and gets an error. I have Windows 10 in S mode version 22H2. This has never happened since owning this lap top for about 3 years. Never had a problem like this. Machine still working great otherwise. Any eta for Microsoft to fix this update so it will complete??? I have tried troubleshooter and there is nothing wrong to troubleshoot. Restarting does nothing to help. Anyone else out there with same issue???

Like an unwitting sub-postmaster I have been struggling with this for days trying all possible fixes. I wonder if Microsoft will apologise (like Fujitsu) and explain what they have done.

This is a known issue right now and there are several reports from other users experiencing the same problem. There is nothing wrong with your Windows and I recommend waiting for Microsoft to offer an easier, automatic solution in the coming days that allows this update to be installed without difficulty. Kindly try pausing updates for 7 days.

Hey there! I appreciate you jumping in on this matter. Most of the day I tried to do the update KB5034203 and it failed to install. I am running windows 10 22H2 as well. It has to be a problem with Microsoft as now it is two updates it fails to install in the last week or so. KB5034122 and KB5034203. My computer is working fine otherwise and no known problems. Ran the troubleshooter and it could find no issues also. Let's stay in touch and as time progresses let's hope Microsoft has a fix as many people cannot complete updates for Jan of 2024.
