Windows security stuck on black screen after opening.

Hello. I am having issues trying to open Windows security. It gets stuck on a black screen and I can't access the settings. I have tried the reset and repair options and that was no use. I even checked for updates and nothing. I even tried restarting my laptop and that didn't work either. I also ran the sfc /scannow command and once again, nothing. I have to note I also have webroot secure anywhere as antivirus. Can someone help?

Instructions:

  • Save the executable to the desktop.
  • Right-click on the file "SecurityHealthSetup_xxxxx.exe" and choose "Run as administrator".

(The above setup file automatically creates the missing SecurityHealth platform folder.

    Greetings Sir Ramesh, I've followed your instructions and executed an in-place windows upgrade last night, Don't know if it's just luck or something. After doing so the said in-place repair or Windows 11 installation, I attempted to open the Windows Security but still to no avail. Also, I tried my luck again to execute SecurityHealthSetup.exe as Admin but ended up to disappointment. This morning, I've checked for a windows update and this appeared on my Windows Screen. I installed the said updates and voila, say no more to Windows Security Blank Screen bug. That's why I'm quite confused if the in-place repair of Windows 11 affected the Windows Update leading to this particular definition updates or Microsoft has just released the updates timely. But anyway, I would like to express my gratitude for your advices. Kudos to you sir and more power!

    I see that you installed Windows today. The above fix worked on every 23H2 system that was recently clean installed. I'm not sure why it didn't work for you.

    Thanks very much sir for the kind assistance.Yes sir, I've executed the file and run as administrator but to no avail. Kindly see attached image below as reference on my OS and its version.
