You are most welcome. Glad to help.
File explorer not responding in Windows 11. It opens up but becomes unresponsive when you click anywhere.
I tried every solution available on the internet to make file explorer responsive. However, it is not working. I open up file explorer, it opens. Now, when I click any folder or any icon or try to do search, it becomes unresponsive. I have spent days trying to fix this and I am very frustrated with this. Can any Samaritan
help me with this?
Kind Regards,
Sajan

Thank you for your response. I had tried many things. Unfortunately, they did not work. I reset my PC by backing up my data (without losing the data). Now fire explorer is working.
Best,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.
To troubleshoot this issue, kindly try the steps below (skip a step that you have already tried):
1-Perform a clean boot and disable non-Microsoft services:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...
After that check to see if the issue persists or not. If the issue is fixed, do the same procedure and re-enable the services one by one until you find the service that causes the issue.
2-Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open Task Manager > Process tab > Search for Windows Explorer and Restart it.
3-You can go through this checklist to make sure the installation is set up correctly:

4-If the issue persists, perform an in-place upgrade.
