I wonder if any of us have access to actual Microsoft personnel who could get a simple message to those who can do something about it: URGENT - Please fix KB5034441, affecting thousands (millions?) of Windows users!

2024-02-23T01:22:59+00:00 I extended the recovery partition to over 1 Gb. For me and many others it didn’t solve the issue. I guess since Windows 11, the B team are in charge of windows 10.

2024-02-23T04:41:04+00:00 I reset another computer to factory settings and it didn't fix the issue... when it tried to install KB5034441 it said "there was a download error."
The retry didn't seem to attempt a clean download. So we continue to dance in circles as Microsoft hijacks our computers!

Most companies will also respond to a social media post rather than a complaint to customer service, so post there and share. Maybe also contact Consumer Reports and the Bureau of Consumer Protection https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ about the issue. Might get someone's attention if complaints are sent en masse.
