Best of luck

2024-02-07T15:20:37+00:00 This update does not exist in the Microsoft Catalog of updates
What can i say.
I had this particular update fail to install manty times over last week or so.
Then eventually i opened my computer earlier this week and low and behold it had now installed.
So, i say to everyone be patient.
It will eventually happen.
There are millions of people using computers.
It not going to get to everyone instantaneously.
It will take time.
Kind regards.

2024-02-06T18:27:33+00:00 Even in Linux, you should able to allocate for system partition, same goes to Windows 8.1 and above, which you already know thay WinRE is one of the critical part when it comes into recovery .. you may not using this WinRE, but for future risk to mitigate, you need your own backup tools and may required more sophisticated way to achieve ..
EOF, Windows 8.1 and above should have this WinRE to ensure your endpoint exploit risk reduced. Which this KB update refer mostly about BitLocker vulnerabilities exploit.
