frustrating update of KB5034441

Everyday I see the lack of faith and trust in Microsoft as they "force" non essential updates on their customers. The collaboration of Microsoft, Intel, Apple, Dell, HP, Toshiba, Acer, IBM, "Big Box" retailers, and thousands of software producers is criminal. It is no longer about quality/reliability but rather duping customers out of their money while creating an environmental nightmare for the future generation. Customers deserve products they can own and maintain but thanks to greed and lack of professionalism these products have turned into throw away commodities as opposed to dependable tools. This issue is just the tip of a bigger iceberg. It is time to look for viable alternatives that have a vision to put the customer first and reject the obsolescence mentality. Let's "make the computer industry great again!"

I also posted my success message [see image below] that the tool worked to hide the selected Windows update - KB5034441.

I ran the Windows update process after the tool hide the KB5034441 update and it came back with all good!

I would never, ever re-size a Windows partition on a working system unless I had several backups, the original M$ Windows license and all of my software licenses that I use/own and have everything detailed with versions, etc... Including screenshots of the setup for everything that I use and work with - including Web browser start page URLs, and all of the user names/account & associated passwords, and my email accounts and their respective setups/settings. M$ get your "S--T" together!!!! This re-sizing a partition is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I have been doing IT since 1980 ... just not ok. PERIOD!

If someone wants to start a petition to MS and share it with us, I'll sign. I'm not on FB or the big social media sites, so sharing it here might work. Most companies will also respond to a social media post rather than a complaint to customer service, so post there and share. Maybe also contact Consumer Reports and the Bureau of Consumer Protection https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ about the issue. Might get someone's attention if complaints are sent en masse.

Its crazy, that MS cannot fix this update for so long. Resizing partition and risking loosing data for 1 update? No thx.

same here I had the same problem in January and so far the only fix that is known is one that is way too risky I am not tech savy nor am I willing to risk my system. Hopefully Microsoft will fix this update themselves soon. We shouldn't have to
