Security Update KB5034441 for Windows 10 Ver. 22H2 will not install.

It did not install for me today. It failed today for download error 0x80070643. I still feel this update is not needed for Windows 10 Home due to not having Bitlocker encryption.

1/27/2024 - 2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) – Error – (0x80070643) – Failed – 1/24/2022 - I am inclined to agree with the above comment as this has been an issue since 1/11/2024, and Microsoft offers no reasonable explanation. When you Chat online, they give you the same BS and each one appears to respond with a prepared script. I don't understand as my home PC keeps downloading different versions of Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.403.2784.0) - Current Channel (Broad) – Installed – 1/27/2024. Microsoft appears to be messing with our PCs and are being totally difficult to do business with. If anyone does not agree, or has some ideas please let us know.

For me, the Windows update screen says it failed to download, but the Windows Reliability Monitor says it failed to install.

1. Запустите командную строку от имени Администратора.
2. Введите команду

    reagentc /info
   

   чтобы получить информацию о расположении среды восстановления — номера диска и раздела.
3. Введите команду

    reagentc /disable
   

   для отключения среды восстановления.
4. По порядку введите команды

    diskpart
    list disk
    select disk N
    list partition
    select partition M
   

   где N — номер диска с разделом восстановления, а M — номер раздела с операционной системой.
5. Введите команду

    shrink desired=250 minimum=250
   

   для сжатия раздела на 250 Мб.
6. Введите команды

    select partition НОМЕР_РАЗДЕЛА_ВОССТАНОВЛЕНИЯ
    delete partition override
   

7. В зависимости от того, на GPT диск или MBR диск установлена система (можно узнать по наличию значка «*» в столбце GPT после выполнения команды list disk) выполните следующие команды. Для GPT:

    create partition primary id=de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac
    gpt attributes =0x8000000000000001
   

   Для MBR:

    create partition primary id=27
   

   
8. Выполните команды

    format quick fs=ntfs label="Windows RE tools"
    exit
    reagentc /enable
   

   
9. Попробуйте снова выполнить установку обновления KB5034441.
