Security Update KB5034441 for Windows 10 Ver. 22H2 will not install.

Thank you so much Microsoft as you have started the New Year off with bang with this update failure below on the first patch Tuesday of the year:

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200B: 2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441).

Tried multiple times to install this brick but no luck on my OMEN desktop and my wife's Envy laptop. So now what Microsoft?

    we should not have to their work for them. they need to fix the problems they are causing. almost two weeks now.

    1/23/24 - KB5034441 will still not install. I have read "Microsoft is working to fix a known issue causing 0x80070643 errors when installing the KB5034441 security update that patches the CVE-2024-20666 BitLocker vulnerability." I get the round a round when chatting online with Microsoft on this issue!

    Has anyone else on this thread tried to Chat with Microsoft, and am wondering what information they may be getting??

    Hi Judy, Hi Marv6,

    What I know so far, no replies from Microsoft here also. This particular security patch applies to Windows 10 only and not to Windows 11. If I could identify the underlying issue (Recovery partition in the wrong location) and produce a work-around in under a day, I would expect MSFT tech support to make some progress. My suspicion (best guess) is that MSFT has moved its staff over to working on Windows 11 issues. After all this issue would be a non-problem. The real problem is that myself and some others don't consider Windows 11 an upgrade but a conversion to yet another immature system.

    (KB5034441) has still failed to update; however KB5034203 & KB5034582 has downloaded and installed! Not sure if these are signs that Microsoft is attempting to work around the KB5034441 problem or not! Any ideas?
