Security Update KB5034441 for Windows 10 Ver. 22H2 will not install.

I'm getting the same error on the same KB# update. I have yet to see this much of an issue with a Windows Update. Usually a reboot fixes my issue but this time it seems like it's sticking around..

Sorry to hear. You can try System Restore but my` pc would not roll back, citing issues with .net, another failure. Also I tried to reboot after initially trying install and I could not get past preparing stage. Had to emergency shut down. via power on button. It's a problem more than meets the initial fail. Thats why I did reset windows. Didn't help much

As fare as I understood from the articles, the problem is that the WinRE partition is too small to install the patch that prevents exploiting Bitlocker. The above procedure guides you to resize the recovery partition.

Be aware that playing with disks and partitions must be done with **extreme** attention as it can lead to data loss.

Figured I might as well jump in too and say I am experiencing the same issue. Would be nice for MS to fix this.

I have same problem. Troubleshooter and reset of .net, even reset my PC / Windows. same problem... and after multiple failed tries and resets I realised this was a Microsoft problem, and the usual response being to blame the client. Very frustrating...
