I used EaseUS Partition Master (I swear I'm not on commission) to resize the recovery partition to 1024. This took about 10minutes to process and reboot. The update then installed fine.
2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) error (0x80070643) a known issue?
I keep trying install this update yet it keeps failing. I already ran troubleshooter said it resolved the issue but the error persists. I also disabled my antivirus and tried again still did not work And I keep getting error (0x80070643) Is this a known issue? All the other updates installed fine without issue.

That is good news for you but we "should not" have to resort to a third party website that I know
nothing about except for the reviews in order to install a security update that MS should not
even have sent out to begin with as it is a brick update. It is not much of a security update if
one has to go to third party websites to install it. It can sit in my update queue until MS
fixes "their " problem and grow digital cobwebs on it. I see you just joined MS Community
today to share your website?

If this is about the recovery partition, I no longer seem to have one. I wish they would fix this because it is slowing everything down on my pc to the point of almost being unusable.

2024-01-10T23:41:05+00:00 I agree, I got the update; Its really annoying cause all other ones did just fine. This is the only one that is giving me issues and I'm not tech savvy enough to fix it. Nor should I be tech savvy to fix something like a security update. I'm a customer not a programmer.

2024-01-11T00:01:34+00:00 My workaround was to reinstall windows, keeping my documents and settings. This procedure is simple to undertake, as it realigns the hard drive recovery partition in which the update fault lies.
