2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) error (0x80070643) a known issue?

I keep trying install this update yet it keeps failing. I already ran troubleshooter said it resolved the issue but the error persists. I also disabled my antivirus and tried again still did not work And I keep getting error (0x80070643) Is this a known issue? All the other updates installed fine without issue.

    Mine had been failing but just succeeded. The main difference for me, don't know if it was causation or correlation, was that I did update and restart instead of update and shutdown.

    I have just tried to install this update on two computers and it does not install with error code (0x80070643)

    I tried to use Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool but that did not fix the problem. I only have win10 built in firewall and antivirus.

    they'll probably get around to fixing it sometime soon or just straight up remove it instead idk how its gonna go for people who have it already downloaded but it won't install since i have the same thing we'll just have to see what happens

    A very large number of users are reporting a failure in downloading this update (KB5034441). There are suggestions to increase the size of the recovery partition to allow the update to succeed. This is a complicated and possibly risky procedure and many are saying it does not work. Microsoft will most likely remove the update or apply a fix.

    I did this today and I would not recommend it to anyone who is not tech savvy because you have to shrink the OS partition and then delete the Recovery Partition. But it didn't work for me.

    Seriously ? Download a bit of free software, resize the partitions on the drive, reboot, resize them again. What could possibly go wrong?

    All this to install an update from Microsoft that is so important that Microsoft themselves cannot be bothered to fix the update themselves.

    btw, won't it be fun when you screw up your drive and you need to do a complete reinstall of windows, all your drivers, and your applications. Not to mention recovering stuff from your backups
