2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) error (0x80070643) a known issue?

I keep trying install this update yet it keeps failing. I already ran troubleshooter said it resolved the issue but the error persists. I also disabled my antivirus and tried again still did not work And I keep getting error (0x80070643) Is this a known issue? All the other updates installed fine without issue.

    First of all, I have minimum experience w/ command prompt. I got about half way through the step by step directions I got in a search for this update and error, and it said I had chosen no drive? I was lost, so the partition was not resized. It is enabled now. I will give MS a chance to resolve the situation. Thanks for the link to the process you used. I have a W10 laptop, and a W10 desktop (it has a partition program on it). I may try the repair on the desktop first, since it's the oldest, and of least value to me.

    Jim, just wondering, what part didn't work? Were you able to resize your recovery partition? What size is it now? Is it now enabled or disabled? There may be a couple more tweaks you can try which I did (documented in the link below), but I don't know for sure whether they played a role or not in my fix... https://www.northshore-it.com/tips/how-tos/manually-resize-your-recovery-partition/

    I get the desire just to use Microsoft's own tools to fix the issue or make changes to your partitions, but, unfortunately, lots of third-party tools exist BECAUSE Microsoft's default tools and methods (like the cumbersome ones that helped destroy your data) are woefully inadequate for certain classes of issues, (partition ones being a historical Achille's heel for Microsoft).

    I would recommend instead you do some research and gain trust in the best third-party tools from reviews, etc., I personally vouch for MiniTool Partition Wizard.     The best thing to do is wait for MS to resolve the issue with the update, rather than resizing recovery drives and possibly having to decrypt Bitlocker.

    MS have said (in the link below) that it is working on a solution, and that it is safe to just leave that update uninstalled for now,
