Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

There is unfortunately an issue with the installation of this update on some systems, please follow the steps in this article to try resolve this:

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,
    Elise

We should not have to follow any steps and enter a bunch of commands in the CMD App to get this installed. I tried it and I got confused doing it so I entered reagentc /enable and got out of it. I am not about to risk screwing up my computer because of this. It can sit in my Updates with retry until MS decides to remove it or MS sends out a fix. If I wanted to be a MS Insider to test updates then I would have signed up for it. Thanks anyway Elise but no one is going to do all of this.

    Respectfully,

First of all this seems very technical for a typical computer user, the instructions are for windows 11 + people have mentioned this before that it sometimes does not always work.

Microsoft just needs to release some kind of emergency fix

A very large number of users are reporting a failure in downloading this update (KB5034441). There are suggestions to increase the size of the recovery partition to allow the update to succeed. This is a complicated and possibly risky procedure and many are saying it does not work. Microsoft will most likely remove the update or apply a fix.

    Hello Micael Nielsen

    • Open the Windows Defender Security Center by clicking the shield icon in the task bar or searching the start menu for Defender.
    • Click the Virus & threat protection tile (or the shield icon on the left menu bar).
    • Click Protection updates. ...
    • Click Check for updates to download new protection updates (if there are any).

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/defenderupdates IF 3rd party protection is in use, stop it and download Defenner up and select the setting right to check protection.
Because if Defenner is not alive then MS UPDATES may not be installed.

That 3-party protection. Do you know how massive the protection is in useThat's why I say Stop it while you update MS : UPDATES.
But now wait a couple of days, won't you?
