Same issue, Microsoft made me jump through hoops. Still not fixed. It has taken my nearly 4 hours on the phone. Dreadful service

2024-01-10T21:33:05+00:00 I agree, they need to step up. We shouldn't have to dance thru hoops they designed and expect us to jump thru like rabbits.
And on my system my C: drive has 273 gb free, wayyy more than enough. My other 2 drives are over 200gb free too. The install log has zero because the install fails. It gives me zip in info.

2024-01-10T21:24:10+00:00 When I looked at the error history, it appears that the recovery partition is not large enough and so the install fails. The solution suggested requires a lot of eye of newt admin commands to shrink the main partition and enlarge the space where the recovery partition is to be installed. I would hope that Microsoft can come up with something more automated. This doesn't look like something the average windows user can handle. Looks like a one typo disaster waiting to happen.

2024-01-10T21:16:58+00:00 for "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" my laptop just keeps getting stuck at 0% then an hour later says "error" and retry button. It did do a different update earlier successfully.
