2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) error (0x80070643) a known issue?

I keep trying install this update yet it keeps failing. I already ran troubleshooter said it resolved the issue but the error persists. I also disabled my antivirus and tried again still did not work And I keep getting error (0x80070643) Is this a known issue? All the other updates installed fine without issue.

    What? That article has no relevance of my current error code and with many others who have the same error code issue here with regards to this failed windows update. Which is this:

    "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643)"

    Obviously Microsoft screw up yet again with a security update, and of course the user has to jump through hoops trying to determine if their systems is what is screw up. And it is extremely B.S. Microsoft lets some indie rando on their help forums think they have the magic fix which just sidelines users into doing something that will screw up their system.

    Yep, I am getting 0x80070643 too, have tried various solutions so need MS to step uo.

    I'm waiting patiently on day 2 for a patch to this patch that actually works. All of the workarounds I've read about seem too involved and too risky for me. I suspect the chances for borking my system are greater with one of these workarounds gone wrong than coming across a virus that exploits any vulnerability that has opened from this issue.

    Getting an update from Microsoft, or better yet a fix that works with Windows update, would be greatly appreciated. It's Thursday and I'm waiting...again.

    This fix DOES NOT work for everyone!!! I was not allowed to change the size of the partition! So I still can't install the update.

    Why isn't Microsoft providing any guidance in response to this flawed update? A brief update as to the timeline for correction would be a tremendous help. It's absurd to just speculate on theories from users. The recommendations that we use companies / fixes that are unknown and untested by the end user... is not a valid answer. Microsoft created this problem. They need to address it ASAP.
