Update KB5034441 fails to install

Here's how I fixed it: I reinstalled clean system using the microsoft media creation tool and updated the system using window UPDATE. Interestingly, everything went smoothly, I didn't have to install any recovery partition, etc.

It's all well and good to say that this update isn't needed so ignore it... the simple fact of the matter is that it has messed up aspects of my computer and I believe many others, so it can't just be ignored unless you're happy to live with a vulnerable computer that could fail without the option to recover it... I no longer have a system restore that works.

I didn’t tell to “ignore it” i told to “hide it” that is a totally different thing.

As me as other people covering windows news have explained, based on MS official documentation, the vulnerability affects very few people, is not like  hacker is going to take your device online, it needs physical access the use of BitLocker, and WinRE partition, all that together from a hacker to screw you. So most people in W10 don’t need it, go figure why wise MS engineers decided to push this in everyone and they were like “meh! We will leave them this docu to resize their partitions is easy!”

I understand that “ignoring it” may cause some conflicts, what I said is use the tool (official of MS is not a third party tool), is very easy to use and most of us had no conflict with this.

IDK if after hiding it (not ignoring it) some of you still may have conflicts, could be, but also could a thing not related with this update, for example, recovery is tricky and often is broken and doesn’t work fine, but that’s a total different issue.

My opinions are based on actual experience. Instead of bickering about simple facts I've seen coming straight from Microsoft over the years of painful hours of troubleshooting, maybe ask yourself why does Microsoft choose to make its own customers do something like this that clearly not even a network admin would want to do?

I don’t think this is part of a plan, just incompetence.

W11 is also riddled with bugs, screw ups, and annoyances.

MS, even with his very high revenues, has been kicking out employees; it is said they are overworked and unmotivated.

Also, Windows is not their star product anymore, as it was years ago; they have more profits in other areas. Plus, many Windows channels complain about all the feedback with previews on patches and people on it has been reduced and poorly managed in the past years.

So what most people said was that they were just some nerdy engineers living in their bubble. For some reason, without filtering, they imposed this unnecessary patch on everyone. They knew it would fail on “some” (quotes) devices, and they were like, "Well, it’s easy to fix; they just need to resize their partition.”

They seem disconnected from Average Joe; as you have seen now and then, people post here to "Microsoft,” but MS developers and engineers don’t read here and surely don’t care.

Well I've just shrink , removed and re-created the WinRE partition and the installation error is no longer there.
