After implementing this fix and playing Sudoku for awhile, it seems that Sudoku no longer saves a game in progress. Previously, I could start a game, then click the Back arrow to go back to the Home Screen and exit the program. Then, when I restarted Sudoku it would let me rejoin the game I was playing and remember my progress in that game. That doesn't work any more after this fix. But, at least the fix did let Sudoku remember my Level so that is something.

You need to use Windows File Explorer. Make sure that you select to show Hidden Items. Start by clicking on your C: drive. Then you should see the path as described in the fix.

Replace "userprofile" with your username and note that the random numbers and letters in the "Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy" may be different. Just select the only folder that starts with "Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_" and you should be OK.

You have to use File Explorer and you have to do a couple things first.

Click on the 3 dots then choose options like this:

Then from the View tab, enable the Show hidden files, folders, and drives setting:

The last thing is to substitute your actual user name before drilling down to the C:\Users*{your user name}*\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker folder.

I tried this and no fix. As much as I am sad for all of us who are having this problem I feel better that it is not just me. My husband is a programmer and followed the fix instructions exactly, it didn't solve the problem and he has no other suggestions. Has anyone tried anything different?
