Microsoft Sudoku has once again lost my progress on daily challenges. Please advise when this issue will be fixed and my progress will be restored.

I can play the game on my W10 standalone machine and it works fine. When I start using my other computer - W11 - it shows the correct starting score from the W10 computer, but it won't save from then on. As you said I have a Sudoku binge...😄 Don't have to tell you, the stupid ads come ad nauseam - pun intended.

Hi, Please report this to the Microsoft Casual Games Team, the more who report it maybe more will be done to fix it. Open Sudoku, Menu (top left hand corner) right to the bottom you'll find 'Support', Fill in the form with as much detail as possible and send.

An automated answer will arrive but within a day you'll get a reply and follow the instructions and pray?

This issue has been going on for months now and still Microsoft have fobbed us off with "fixes" that just do not work, so I doubt if reporting it time and time again will do any good. I've just given up playing a games that I used to really enjoy, but now it is so depressing I cannot bear to even open it anymore.

I have found by chance, a work around that works for me. I use a win11 pc to play the game but also have it loaded on an android mobile (cell) phone. Both installs are logged into MS Sudoku with the same account username and password. After completing 1, 2 or all 3 of a day's daily challenges depending on how much time I can spare and I want to leave the game, I click 'Done' but leave the games page loaded in the background. If you use a VPN to reduce adverts,, switch it off temporarily and then open the game on the android device. and select a challenge that is not completed already. At this point I get a large pop up headed RESTART REQUIRED follwed by the message 'Microsoft Sudoku is out of sync and must be restarted' below this is a large blue button marked OK. Clicking on this updates the android device. with the ticked but unsaved games from the W11 PC. The PC simultaneously saves the completed ticked games.

A word of caution the ad blocker in my VPN stops the sync from working so I switch it off. I have also followed the helpful advice earlier in this thread including removing Xbox from the W11 PC. Also, if all of the days challenges have been completed on the W11 pc the process behave slightly differently and the Restart Required pop up appears on the window version. Curious and I am still trying to fully understand why this works for me 90% of times. If anyone finds a better solution please do share.
