Microsoft Sudoku has once again lost my progress on daily challenges. Please advise when this issue will be fixed and my progress will be restored.

I am not Microsoft. I am just a player like you who had a problem and I told people what I did to solve it. Which was, only play the games in the order and date they come in. Once I did that I never had a problem again. I was gone for 16 days on vacation. When I came back I started with the oldest game first and I always did them left to right. . I've never had a problem since I started doing that.

New day, similar problem I've had with Microsoft Sudoku in the past. In the past, I lost progress on daily achievements, but there was at least some record of what I did in the past by way of awards. This time though, I have zero data. I'm at level 1, no awards, no anything. Years of progress gone.
Well, turns out after trying multiple actions, it looks like I have to get a game pass to play Sudoku "ad free". I already paid an annual subscription for "Ad Free' Dec. 23, 2023.
I have ABSOLUTELY no interest in their Xbox games. I just renewed my Solitaire Collection annual subscription and I will probably let Solitaire lapse also. Good Job, Microsoft.
Same thing here. I did all this, and it reset me to a beginning player. I quit the game for over a year because of this. I am quitting for good now.
