The Instruction at 0x00007FFBCEAC3ACA reference memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the programme.

I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.

sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run

DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.

I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

when I shut down.

I NEED HELP NOW please.

I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

Thanks.

What was the fix to this? I did a clean install of windows after I got the error message as well. Goes away and comes back randomly.

    Unplug the Xbox controller.

    (or)

Launch "Services.msc" and double-click “GameInput Service”

Set it to “Disabled” and click “Stop” to turn off the service if it’s running.

Thanks for the help on this. I had the same memory type reference with explorer referenced. It was driving me crazy on shutdown. I noticed this reference to an xbox style controller and sure enough, I had recently plugged in a Logitech xbox style controller and left it sitting on my computer. I unplugged it and no more error on shutdown.

I noticed when I overclock my ram or have Expo enabled I get this message when I turn off my PC.

Did you find a solution for this?

I have noticed this exact same behavior. My PC was rock solid for 4 months. Then I realized I forgot to enable expo. Since I did I've been getting this message on shutdown for a few weeks. Been trying to pinpoint a fix since then.

It seems to be just a little thing of the computer attempting to write something to the memory that didn't take the first time. Sort of like typing, and a letter doesn't show up when you lightly press it? I've never had my computer break from it, but a MS Admin would know better...
