I am faced with the same error message which identifies explorer.exe as the application. In addition, since the error has begun, I am finding that software installs are failing (Acronis Essentials as an example). A failed install message occurs and a says that it cannot complete until an existing installation process completes - I do not know what that installation is. Running Process Monitor after the attempted install shows that explorer.exe has a large number of failed events many of which are associated with security locks. If there is a another installation running and I could identify it then it could be just a matter of aborting it. Has anyone else had this happen?

2024-08-27T10:34:29+00:00 Hey! Having the same problem here and have been doing some searching. Are you using an xbox controller? It seems to be related to it wether you are using it wired or bluetooth. Still hunting for a fix though as i'm in the same boat as you and can't uninstall the update. Does seem like a joke considering how much we give these companies lmao
