The Instruction at 0x00007FFBCEAC3ACA reference memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the programme.

I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.

sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run

DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.

I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

when I shut down.

I NEED HELP NOW please.

I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

    I feel your pain, I have just built a new high end gaming pc .

    Its not my hardware that is at fault ., tested ram e.c.t

    The problem for me is once i have done a clean install of win 11

    the offending update gets installed. Before that there is no error.

    I have also tried numerous win installs , with expo not enabled ,

    but the problem still persists.

    Asus armory crate is a offender , so that is not installed .

    AMD Radeon 24.2.1 driver looks like it might have a few probs on the

    amd forums. so installed version before that was stable , but dam error

    still there. I only get the error after i quit a game to desktop.

    then on next restart the error shows its head again.

    Also windows desktop sometimes is black no wallpaper until i choose new wallpaper.

    I have tried every possible fix but no luck .

    Driving me mad . makes me want to buy a ps5 just to turn it on and it works !!.

    I installed the new KB5035853 cumulative update a little while ago. Turned off all my group policy changes. Rebooted a couple of times, restarted a couple of times, logged on and off a few times, played 3 different games, wit my Xbox controller in Bluetooth, and did all the restarts, shutdowns and logoffs again. No explorer error. I haven't looked through the docs on the update yet to see if it is mentioned.

    Seems like it's fixed from my perspective.

    Sounds promising , please keep us all updated .

    I noticed if i dont connect my xbox 360 elite 2 controller and just use mouse keyboard

    the error does not appear .

    What caused that crash? The new update?

    I'm still running clean here. It was the last update that gave my PC instability, and the one before that that caused the explorer.exe errors
