The Instruction at 0x00007FFBCEAC3ACA reference memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the programme.

I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.

sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run

DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.

I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

when I shut down.

I NEED HELP NOW please.

I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

    Facing the same issue on fresh install of Windows 10 when launching PUBG PC in Steam, tried everything on the internet for 3 days no luck, frustrating experience.

    We need to upvote this thread to get attention for resolution by Windows team.

    Also found we could report issues using -

    To report a bug, you can use the Feedback Hub by following these steps:

    1. Open your Start menu and search for "Feedback Hub," then click to open it.
    2. Hit the option labelled "+ Add new feedback."
    3. Choose "Problem" and give a brief summary of the issue, like "BUG: Referenced memory at 0x00000000 the memory could not be read in Microsoft Windows"

    And hopefully if enough people report this may get traction

    This error has been occuring on 1 of my game for over 2 weeks now randomly. From what i observed is that my game has its game main UI minimized on my tray if i maximize the screen i get this error. Anyone here have solution for this aside from clean reinstall of windows 11 OS?

    Aside from the error message of the this thread I also checked event logs but i think this event only shows up since the game freezed already so its just a result of the first error.

    Event ID: 1002 Application Hang

    The program GameLauncher.exe version 2019.4.36.3094 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

    If you have not done already, Move over, to 24h2.

    This has NOT Happened since I moved to 24h2.

    I saw this as a possible solution, but I don't have a game controller. I started wondering if it was other peripherals, but as far as I can tell it isn't.

    I really have no idea what is causing it at this point, and am hoping it gets fixed in a future update to Windows.

    It means you forgot to shut off your game controller before shutting down PC.
