The Instruction at 0x00007FFBCEAC3ACA reference memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the programme.

I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.

sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run

DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.

I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

when I shut down.

I NEED HELP NOW please.

I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

Thanks.

We see this error on a Windows 11 Enterprise Multisession server when we close Adobe Acrobat Reader with a loaded document.

Our system is fully patched, 23h2 with latest monthly updates.

We started to get this monday 15 of April and 14 of April these updates were installed:
2024-04 Cumulative update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64

2024-04 Cumulative update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64

Probably the cause of an update.

    What I did so far:

I started reinstalling Adobe which didn't help.

I run some system checks like sfc /scannow and dism /restorehealth which didn't help.

Sometimes it looks like it's away but later it starts to show up again.

    chkdsk didn't found anything.

No logs to be found in Eventlog about this.

    System reboot.

This turned out to be an Adobe bug and is not because of any Windows update. I just wanted to clarify that.

Exactly the same issue. Also for me this started a couple of months ago all of the sudden with Windows 11. For me it also reports explorer.exe as the culprit along with a memory error issue when shutting down my PC. I don't get this message outside of shutting down my PC, so atm I can live with it.

I am using a turtle beach wireless headset btw. Saw in one of the comments that this might, similar to Xbox controllers, cause this issue??

That said, I find it funny that these so called microsoft troubleshoot experts are so silent now after a while in this thread. To be honest, out of all the issues I have had throughout the years with using windows, replicating their suggestions I rarely see any of these work out. This issue must be instrumental with Windows 11 and requires a fix from Microsoft. I feel this is beyond our control to fix.

It's absurd that after all these months, none of the Microsoft staff has deigned to expose themselves even to say that they will work to solve the problem that is now clearly widespread.

I can say that I formatted the PC from scratch, I also formatted the SSD and reinstalled Windows 11 Pro. as soon as I set up the pass I entered my PC with the new operating system and deactivated the updates. I restarted, turned it off, left the PC on for 1 hour, downloaded my favorite game, played for 1 hour, turned the PC off and the error never occurred. I created a restore point, activated the update and updated the entire system and.... I go to turn off the PC and the error returns... since March it has greeted me every evening before going to sleep.
