I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.
sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run
DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.
I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this
when I shut down.
I NEED HELP NOW please.
I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

Do you know what that last update was? It seems they either might spread updates across different regions at different rates so that an update someone in the US might have gotten some weeks ago I only get a few days ago. Either that or people are pausing their updates to the maximum time allowed (5 weeks?) and are now shy to deploy any updates till they absolutely have to. After this I am going to wait as long as possible before installing any updates.
My new Windows 11 build uses my pre-existing Clubsport 2.5 wheelbase with the XBox wheel. That combination is perfectly happy even now as was the F710 gamepad I use for flight simming and FPS games until the message began appearing 100% of the time a few days ago. I even might have considered getting an XBox gamepad (the actual Microsoft one) in lieu but I don't trust that will fix the issue. However I did read somewhere today that someone who was getting the error message all the time got rid of it with a firmware update to their XBox controller. There hasn't been a driver update for a few years for the F710 let alone a firmware update. I'm beginning to get the impression this will be widespread without firmware updates for pretty much anything that is seen as an Xbox device. Interestingly, as part of the latest Fanatec driver update, both my wheelbase and Xbox rim did get firmware updates...
I'm trying a brand new install as I write and I am going to install the gamepad related games but no actual gamepad right away. First I am going to make a drive image of the install as it is without any XBox hardware (apart from the wheel rim which is perfectly happy). That way at least I can freely experiment with things without undoing all the work to this point.

My issue was to do with OneDrive - uninstalled and reinstalled and the error has gone (for now).
I'm just chiming in to say that I have the problem on a brand new Windows 11 installation that I did yesterday 24th June 2024. It began happening after it did all the windows updates. How annoying this is even after just one day of use - I can't imagine living with this for months on end!! And yes, it ONLY happens when shutting down.
No I do not know which update.
But the Latest One that just dropped.
I have yet, to see any more of the error.
Hope this update that just dropped took care of it.
