The Instruction at 0x00007FFBCEAC3ACA reference memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the programme.

I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.

sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run

DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.

I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

when I shut down.

I NEED HELP NOW please.

I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

Thanks.

Like yourself, my Gaming PC is Dedicated to Simulations only.

I was quite amazed the MSFT Simulator required a side load of the xbox programme

which to my suprise, required a Username and password before MSFT would even begin the Installation process.

I felt Hijacked at that point.

I paid for the Premuim the Biggest edition I could buy, I was'nt going to quit there.

I am waiting for a fix.

Since I did this on March 23rd I have not seen the error even once.

Windows Key> type services.msc hit enter.

Scroll to GameInput Service, double click and stop the service, then change the startup type from manual or current setting to disabled and apply.

After reading about a couple of KBs in this thread I decided to yolo it and install them, not knowing what to expect.

I now have the strange behaviour that I only get the error message on shutdown when running at least one specific programme, which I can reproduce on demand.

No xbox controller or other bluetooth device involved. It reinforces my suspicions that it has something to do with a dll or some other software related dependency when running certain apps.

Microsoft is really being lame about this, I have to say. But I'm not surprised.
