Yes gamebar can be annoying but Windows is provided for free, Microsoft can put whatever it wants into it's freely provided OS as we except the terms and conditions every time we log in. what they should do is provide a free version like they do now with all the bloat and a paid version that removes absolutely everything and is like tiny 11, this way those that want it for free still get the full Microsoft treatment and those that want the OS free of all clutter and to be THEIR OS can pay like previous version of windows.

I would gladly pay for windows if it removed all the bloat and all the AI **** and all the telemetry tracking.

This worked for me. Hate all these windows 11 nonsense. This issue is still prevelant in 2025. Crazy to me microsoft tries to push this bs on to you when you don't want it and you can't simply uninstall but instead have to jump through hoops to even uninstall and then do even more to make sure it completely stops attempting to start

This approach may lead to confusion regarding the solution. Let's examine the issue closely.

Firstly, you may have uninstalled the game bar using a third-party uninstaller, such as IObit Uninstaller. If that's the case and the Xbox app is still on your system, open it. The app should prompt you to install any missing components, including the game bar. If the Xbox app isn't installed, you can download it from the store and follow the same process to install the required components.

    Hope this helps!
