When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).
I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.
When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.
Any help would be appreciated.

So - out of curiosity - *why isn't Microsoft fixing this?*I assume most users cannot successfully navigate through this process.
Tried repartitioning the recovery partition as per Microsoft suggestion, but never fixed the problem. Recovery partition has been increased from 1GB to 1.25GB. How large should the partition be?
You have done 50% of the necessary steps to fix this issue. Go back and read this post to find out how to create, move, and have a working Recovery Drive that is recognized by Windows. It starts on Page 37 and goes to page 44. Choose the method you need to resolve this. To answer your question, you need 1GB or more - that is 1000 kb. To get a Recovery Partition of 1GB, you need to resize (shrink) your boot drive to 1024 kb. Did you do the steps to have Windows recognize your new partition as a Recovery Partition? You might want to reload Win 10 completely as directed in this Post, then you do not have to worry about size, partitions, recovery files and this update.
